This year, we’re celebrating big! Join us for the 2026 Newtown Heritage Festival as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States and honor the rich history and vibrant community that make Stephens City so special. Spend Memorial Day weekend with us as we reflect on our heritage and celebrate our hometown spirit.

Saturday, May 23 – Enjoy a full day of festivities, including historic trolley tours, heritage demonstrations, a car and tractor show, craft vendors, local food, live music, fun and free activities for the kids, a grand parade, and a fireworks finale to close out the night.
We’re going all out for the 250th anniversary, and you won’t want to miss this year’s festival! Stay tuned for updates on our music lineup, food trucks, vendors, and more.
The festivities will take place Friday, 6-9pm, and Saturday, 10am-10pm.
