Preserving Nature: A Three-Part Workshop Series
This fall at Seven Bends Nursery, join artist Michael LaMattina for a three-part series celebrating Virginia’s native plants through the art of pressing and creative craft. We’ll begin by learning the basics of plant pressing and making our own DIY mini flower presses. From there, each workshop will guide you into a new project: first, a festive pennant banner that brings autumn indoors, and finally, a mixed-media collage that blends pressed flowers with paper <a href="http://art.

Whether you attend one session or all three, you’ll leave with lasting keepsakes and new ways to connect with the beauty of the seasons. These workshops are for beginners and hobbyists, but certainly any experience level is welcome! Age 18+.
As summer fades into fall, it’s the perfect moment to preserve the beauty of Virginia’s native plants. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of pressing and preserving flowers and foliage, and you’ll even create your own DIY mini flower press to take home. Together we’ll explore simple, timeless ways to capture fleeting blooms so you can enjoy them long after the season changes. Preserve the season, petal by <a href="http://petal.
