Step back in time for an evening of food, history, music, and community at Tavern Night & Market at La Grange Family Farm!
Part of the Hungry for History food series and presented in collaboration with the Newtown History Center, this special evening will explore the history of food and the traditions that once brought people together around the tavern table.
Wander the farm and market, discover stories from the past, and enjoy live period music from Hancock’s Civil War Band while Star in the Valley Winery pours local wine and drinks throughout the evening and Valley Mill Bakehouse brings delicious historical snacks to the Barn.
Come hungry, grab a glass, browse the market, and settle in for a summer evening inspired by the taverns and gathering places of days gone by.
