Looking to learn more about a family quilt? On this special day, recognized quilt expert and conservator Pam Pampe will be at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley to examine quilts and analyze their materials, techniques, and condition. She will estimate each quilt’s age, identify patterns and origins, and offer insight into its significance, along with guidance on proper care and preservation. One quilt per 20-minute session. Discovery sessions offer historical and preservation information; no appraisals.
