Clarke County’s Homecoming Parade begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16. Parade participants gather at Johnson-Williams Middle School, head north on Lincoln Avenue, east along Main Street, and turn south on Chalmers Court to the government center parking lot.
NOTE: Main Street is CLOSED to traffic beginning at 5 p.m. and remains closed for 30 to 60 minutes while the parade travels east to the government center.
Expect ROAD CLOSURES AND LIMITED PARKING from 4:45 to 6 p.m. Part of Lincoln Avenue will be closed with restricted access and parking, and Main Street is closed to all traffic from Hermitage Boulevard to First Street, with limited access to on-street parking.
Clarke County High School’s Homecoming football game against Page County High School begins at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Wilbur M. Feltner “The Felt” Stadium on Westwood Road.
