Follow The Star is a Guided Walking Tour! Have you ever dreamed about the night when Jesus was born? What it would be like to be visited by angels like Mary and Joseph? On a cold winter’s night, one bright star out shone the others. When the angels proclaimed to the shepherds about their newborn King. Follow the Star will take you back to that night and you will experience Christmas like never before.
There will be live drama – including animals – for your enjoyment as you walk through the event.
You’ll be put into your tour groups, and walk through the City Gates walking from scene to scene, hearing/seeing/smelling the entire Christmas story, from beginning to end. The dramatic presentation includes live animals and actors to display the night Jesus was born. You will be walking on a paved parking lot. The tour is approximately 25 minutes once you leave the Marketplace. This is an outdoor event, so dress warmly. We hope you will join us – it will be a weekend you won’t want to miss.
This is a walk-through nativity on a paved driveway. However, golf carts will be available for individuals who may need mobility assistance. We will also have accessible portable restrooms available, should you need their use.
