The Fort Loudoun DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) invites all to join in celebrating September 17-23, 2025, as U. S. Constitution Week.
On September 18 at 5pm, a Constitution Week program will be held at Bowman Library in the Children’s Room. Join us for this fun, interactive program with numerous activities and games for children.
This year, 2025 marks the 238th anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution and the 236th anniversary of the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the Constitution. In one short year we will be celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America’s Independence. This week is an opportunity to reaffirm the ideals put forth by the Framers of the constitution in 1787 by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through these guardians of our liberties, remembering that lost rights may never be regained.
