This group provides input to Tourism Office staff on industry trends, challenges, opportunities, business needs and other issues affecting agritourism in Winchester and Frederick County. Meetings also provide an opportunity for agritourism businesses and organizations to network, exchange ideas and share inspiration.
The group is open to existing and prospective agritourism-related businesses and organizations. No application or appointment is required to participate. Businesses do not need to be currently operating an agritourism product to attend; those interested in developing agritourism opportunities are also encouraged to participate.
The group will also provide a forum for businesses to identify opportunities for collaboration, learn about tourism resources and programs, and help shape future initiatives designed to support agritourism in the community.
The first meeting will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 9 a.m. at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center, located at 1400 S. Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester.
Then, beginning in December, the committee will meet monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at 9 a.m.
