Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. and the Patsy Cline Historic House invites you to the 16th Annual Patsy Cline Block Party, a free community event on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
An old-fashioned style block party, every year on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, the day celebrates Patsy Cline’s Birthday and contribution to American Culture with live music by local and regional musicians featuring Patsy Cline and Country Music!

Get ready to go “A-Walkin’ Out in the Patsy Cline Memorial Park” 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, September 5, 2026, for the 16th Annual Patsy Cline Block Party to celebrate the one and only Patsy Cline! Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. is excited to announce that this event will be the inaugural music event in the Patsy Cline Memorial Park!
Parking: Street Parking is limited; Park & Ride for Free at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center (1400 S. Pleasant Valley Road) and ride the trolley to and from the Block Party. The Trolley will run continuously throughout the day at no charge to riders.
Alcohol: NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED (per Winchester City Code of Ordinances 16-32)
Seating: Chairs will be available; individuals are also welcome to bring their own.
Get ready to enjoy all the things you already love about the Block Party with some amazing additions – including more Food Trucks and Artisan Vendors! Free live music features some local and regional favorites, including Jill Speicker, Zac Townsend and the Mudcats, and more! We are also cooking up a sweet Hungry for History tasting of Patsy Cline’s Applesauce Cake and Hilda Hensley’s Black Walnut Cake! Last but not least, we are once again offering special-priced timed tours of the Patsy Cline Historic House! 4th Annual Hungry for History Food Event:
Come enjoy the 16th Annual Patsy Cline Block Party and celebrate Patsy Cline’s Birthday by eating Patsy Cline’s Applesauce Cake and her mom, Hilda Hensley’s Black Walnut Cake, all while listening to live music, exploring Patsy Cline’s House and neighborhood! You can also learn how Patsy Cline’s family practiced small-scale subsistence farming and preserving while living at the Patsy Cline Historic House.

Are you Hungry for History? The Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center is partnering with several historic sites and restaurants throughout Winchester, and Frederick and Clark County for its 4th Annual Hungry for History Food Event. The Hungry for History Event explores the food history of museums and historic sites in the area from Friday, August 28, 2026 – Monday, September 7, 2026, The Patsy Cline Historic House’s Hungry for History Event “Patsy Cline’s Homegrown Roots: Cakes from the Family Recipe Book” will be held on Saturday, September 5, 11 AM – 5 PM during the 16th Annual Patsy Cline Block Party.
